North Carolina Area Coordinator Patrick Fitzpatrick passed away unexpectedly at about 1:15 pm, Saturday January 27. We are still awaiting the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of his death.

Patrick is survived by his parents, Jim and Ruth Fitzpatrick, 5006 Gamton Ct., Charlotte, NC 28226. If you'd like to call them, Patrick's friend of five years, Mr. Tom Daoust, will be glad to give individuals their unlisted telephone number. His phone is 704-536-8602. Patrick is also survived by his children, of whom his nine-year-old son was especially dear.

For whatever reason, this is a tough road. It will continue -- at least for awhile -- to be an uphill battle. However, with consistency of purpose, commitment toward our goals, and strength in our membership we will prevail.
