"I have been personally dialoguing with the principals at the piloting agency, and I am extremely impressed with their obvious sensitivity to the financial issues faced not only by single mothers, but by single fathers as well," said F.R.E.E.[tm] Founder and Director Anne P. Mitchell, Esq.
F.R.E.E.[tm] began working with Diller & Associates first and foremost because F.R.E.E.[tm] as an organization strongly believes that children need the equal love and support of both parents. This support includes equal loving parental support as well as equal financial support. By working with this insurance provider, F.R.E.E.[tm] was able have a hand in shaping the nature of the service, and is able to offer the benefit to its membership at reasonable rates.
"We are delighted to be the first membership agency to be able to offer its members this innovative coverage," added Mitchell.
The Fathers' Rights & Equality Exchange (F.R.E.E.[tm]) is a member-supported, not-for-profit organization dedicated to the premise that parenting is a 50/50 proposition and as such, both fathers and mothers should share equally in the parenting and support of their children.
While there are many highly visible interest groups advocating for the very real plight of single mothers, few groups speak out for the problems encountered by single fathers.
Not an "angry men's" organization, F.R.E.E.'s primary mission is to work to ensure that both parents are allowed and expected to be responsible and involved parents. For the non-custodial father this means being able to have fair time with his children, and being able to provide for them not just financially, but parentally as well.
F.R.E.E.'s Director, Anne Mitchell, herself a single parent, is a 1992 graduate of Stanford Law School, a member of the California Bar, and has been a fathers' rights advocate since 1987.
